Khan Academy Circular

Dear Parents,

Greetings of the day!! 

As the New Education Policy lays great emphasis on logic and analytical skills of a child to be able to effortlessly negotiate real life applications of Mathematics, Podar International School,Vadodara takes one more step in enriching the learning experience of our students.

 We are happy to share that we will be introducing the world famous  Khan Academy for Maths in Std. IX & X.  We are targeting to commence the program from 1st September onward.

Let’s see how it will work:

Math teacher/s of std IX/X will be the nodal point for this program.

A Khan Academy student account has been created for each student with personalized ID and password.

A student can work on assignments by accessing his personal account with help of ID and password.

Math teachers will share Id's and Password with students by 1st September2020.

Every Thursday Math teacher will share Assignments (Objective Qns/MCQ).

Each assignment will take maximum 45 minutes to 1 hour in solving.

Students will have enough time to work on it from Friday to Sunday during week end.

They are supposed to submit it by Monday 12 noon.

Let’s know why it will be helpful:

More the students practice Mathematics the better they become at it and it is a proven fact.

These Khan Academy modules have been developed by highly experienced Mathematics experts for CBSE students of std IX /X   aimed at helping the students to develop confidence in  solving Mathematical problems.

It may look like an additional burden to students at first but a smart and focused student will realize the value of access to world acclaimed   Khan Academy practice material and will plan well to take maximum advantage of this facility provided by the school.
