As you are aware , the Chandrayaan-2 mission has been successfully launched by ISRO on 22 nd  July 2019. The mission comprises of an orbiter, lander and rover to explore the moon’s south pole. Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram lander is expected to land on the moon on September 7, 2019.             In this regard to increase awareness about the space programme, an online quiz competition is being conducted by ISRO in coordination with MyGov.in from 10 th  August.  The Date has been extended till 25 th  August. Two Top scoring students (from Class 8,9,10 only) from each state and Union Territory will be invited to ISRO, Bengaluru Centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon live along with the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.   The website for above is  https://quiz.mygov.in Note: Please note - to ease the process mygov has also activated sms based service.
